About Us
Greater New Bedford Choral Society
The Greater New Bedford Choral Society is a non-audition SATB choir that has brought classical choral music to listeners in southeastern Massachusetts since its founding in 1964. Under the direction of Brian Dean Sousa, we give two concerts each year that typically include one major choral work plus a selection of shorter pieces chosen for the year’s season. We also are active in the community, singing informally at assisted living facilities, local celebrations, and other venues. We welcome singers of all abilities!
